Our summer 2021 concert season begins Wednesday, July 7 and runs through Sunday, August 15.

Join us for the following concerts, either in-person or (NEW this year) virtually from the comfort of your home. Concert programs subject to change.

Virtual screenings of the Sunday and Wednesday concerts are available. Sunday concerts are at a reduced price; Wednesday concerts require a no-cost ticket. The live-streamed concert is only available during the time of the live concert.  

2021 Sunday Symphony Series (Fee. The Lake Placid Center for the Arts)

  • Sundays at 7:30 PM: July 11, 18, 25; August 1

2021 Wednesday Community Series (FREE. LPCA or Lake Placid Horse Show Pavilion)

  • Wednesdays at 7 PM: July 7 (LPCA only), 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11

  • UPDATE: The July 21, 2021 concert will be held at the Annex at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.

COVID PROTOCOL FOR CONCERTS

All concerts are one hour and without an intermission. Programs are subject to change. All ticket sales must be purchased in advance, either on-line or by calling the LPCA box office (518-523-2512). Ticket sales are available up to prior to each performance; no walk-in tickets available. All patrons are required to present proof of vaccination--as well as proof of ID--in order to attend an in-person concert. Children under the age of 11 (i.e., are not allowed to be vaccinated) are allowed to attend in-person concerts in the company of their vaccinated family members. Concert conditions are subject to change.

 

What is it like to attend an Lake Placid Sinfonietta Concert?

Concert dress ranges from business casual to just getting off the mountain. All concert-goers are welcome as they are. 

Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA) has ample parking surrounding the theater building. There are two bathroom facilities, and wheelchairs are available. The LPCA venue provides snacks & beverages including coffee, wine, and beer, before each performance for a fee. There are a wide variety of restaurants and eateries within a short walk or drive. 

The Horse Show Grounds Pavilion has ample parking near the pavilion. There are bathroom facilities. There are no concessions offered. There is one restaurant close by, and many more within a short drive. 

The Hotel Saranac provides guest parking behind the hotel, and there is limited, free on-street parking as well as three, limited, free public parking within walking distance. There are many restaurants and eateries within a short walk and drive; in addition, the Hotel has a fine on-site restaurant ("Campfire") and an indoor/outdoor bar ("Great Hall Bar"). 

The Horse Show Grounds (NEW) LPCA Stage has ample parking near the stage. There are bathroom facilities. There are no concessions offered. There is one restaurant close by, and many more within a short drive.
