Cloudsplitter Gondola Rides
The eight-passenger Cloudsplitter Gondola takes you from the base lodge to the top of Little Whiteface in less than fifteen minutes. This ride takes you over ski trails, wooded areas and scenic overlooks with breathtaking views of the AuSable River, the Adirondack High Peaks and the Olympic Jumping Complex. At the summit of Little Whiteface (3,676 feet), an observation deck and picnic tables await you regardless of the season.
Downhill Mountain Biking
Challenging downhill trails on the lower mountain that wind through the scenic valley and along the river that are suited to fit the needs of riders of every skill level. Advanced trails can be accessed via the Cloudsplitter gondola or a shuttle is made available to those riders looking to get a feel for the mountain first.
Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway
An eight-mile trip from the crossroads in Wilmington, the Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway will give you access to the summit of the fifth highest mountain in the Adirondacks. The last five miles are the most spectacular as the road winds upward through a changing forest and an alpine summit environment. At the parking area, take a short hike or ride an underground elevator to the summit for a truly amazing 360-degee view of the surrounding lush wilderness.
The nine-hole course utilizes "frisbee" like discs on the lower portion of Whiteface. Players follow the course around the bottom sections of some favorite Whiteface ski trails during the summer! Grab your friends and give it a try!
A guided, 90 minute summer tour along the banks of the West Branch of the AuSable River and Stag Brooks Falls Trail that includes a lunch and Cloudsplitter gondola ride.
AirBag Free Fall
Experience the exhilaration of free-fall while landing into a soft pillow of air. This 50-by-50 foot pillow of air has several inflatable chambers specially designed to soften your landing. Now you can practice all those advanced maneuvers before taking them into the park.
4x4 Alpine Expeditions
Explore Whiteface’s wilderness with a personalized tour on an all-terrain vehicle. Groups up to five guests can travel through remote forest stands, see secluded sections of the AuSable river, and experience a firsthand view of the Olympic Mountain ski trails.
Yoga on the Mountain
This one hour yoga session with renowned local instructor, Mim Frantz, takes place on the summit of Little Whiteface and includes a Scenic Cloudsplitter Gondola Ride. Yoga mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you would prefer.
Rock the Face

Dining at Whiteface
J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines Cafe and Wine Bar The cafe features fine fare with a focus on local products in a casual setting at the base of the Mountain. Open 9 a.m. for coffee, lattes, cappuccino, espresso and pastries followed by lunch throughout the summer. Enjoy J Lohr wines by the bottle or glass. Open for dinner on Saturday nights throughout July and August.
Cloudspin Lounge Enjoy great food and drinks in a fun, festive atmosphere at in the lodge at the base of the mountain.
Castle Cafe As you make your way to the summit of the mountain, stop and take in the spectacular scenery in the castle cafe, situated at the amazing elevation of 4,610 feet. Savor the gourmet, rustic cuisine prepared by our talented chefs.
