The Orchestra of the Adirondacks
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta, Stuart Malina Music Director performs in Lake Placid and the surrounding Adirondack region for six weeks every summer. This fully professional chamber orchestra features twenty top classical musicians from around the country, exciting soloists, and repertoire from the beloved classics to composed music of today.
2023 Symphony Series at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts
Six early evening concerts (7:30 PM) in the intimate theater of the LPCA, July 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6 and 13. All are Sunday evenings except for July 23 which is a Saturday. Tickets $30 sold through the LPCA box office 518.523.2512, tickets for youth, 18 years and under are $10.
2023 Park Series at Mid's Park on Main Street
Thursday July 6 and the following five Wednesdays, July 12, 19, 26, August 2 and 9. Enjoy the orchestra lakeside, all ages welcome. Bring a snack or picnic dinner, blanket, camp chair and let the music and view transport you for an hour of unbelievable relaxation!
