The Lake Placid Sinfonietta presents its 103rd season "SEE THE MUSIC" from July 8 through August 16 of 2020. Free outdoor concerts are held each Wednesday evening in Mid's Park in downtown Lake Placid. Concerts are also scheduled on Sundays in the intimate theater of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, and a slate of concerts will be announced in other Adirondack communities.

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is a professional chamber orchestra of twenty musicians from across the country. From its inception in 1917 to the present day, it has provided excellence in live classical performance to the heart of the Adirondacks. Current Sinfonietta musicians include members of the Alabama Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Vermont Symphony, the Rochester Philharmonic, Quad City Symphony, and the Tucson Symphony.
