Lake Placid, adirondacks, usa — The 2015 Lake Placid Blues and Heritage Festival, presented by Labatt Blue, will feature more than 25 bands performing at a dozen venues over three days from June 18-21, 2015.

 

The Lake Placid Blues and Heritage Festival celebrates exceptional music and the rich heritage of the Lake Placid area. Now in its second year, the event will feature talent with international acclaim, with many artists known for their blues chops.  Performances include Shakura S’aida, Alexis P. Suter Band, George Kilby Jr. with Phil Wiggins, Professor Louie and the Crowmatix, Samuel James, Michael Powers and Infinity, Murali Coryell, the Roxy Perry Band, the Bobby Kyle Band, Rhett Tyler and Early Warning, Dave Keyes and many more.

 

This year’s event also includes additional special features including a Sunday zydeco brunch, a VIP cookout, and a narrated presentation called “A Tribute to the Class of 1915” honoring the music of legends such as Muddy Waters, Honeyboy Edwards and Willie Dixon.
