Select a mountain:

With the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies, and over 90 percent of terrain open, there's plenty of season left for skiers and riders at Whiteface Mountain. Though Whiteface might be best known for its steep and technical black diamond trails, skiers will find terrain for every skill level, from expert to beginner. The mountain boasts a generous amount of intermediate trails, and a full-service ski area for children at the Kids Kampus features its own lodge, lift and trail system.

In nearby Saranac Lake, skiers will find a favorite training hill for local alpine racers and a cozy family retreat. Mount Pisgah Ski area offers recreational downhill skiing and snowboarding, to a high caliber terrain park, snow tubing, and night skiing.

And only an hour from Lake Placid, skiers and riders will enjoy Titus Mountain, a family-friendly favorite, complete with night skiing and a tubing park.
