LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will sponsor a concert to help those in need following the extensive regional damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene. The concert will take place on September 13 from 7-10 p.m. at the Arts Center located at 17 Algonquin Drive in Lake Placid. Suggested minimum donation is $30 at the door.

All funds raised will be directly donated and equitably distributed between the Town of Jay Tropical Storm Relief Fund and The Keene Flood Recovery Fund.

Many of the bands performing have been directly impacted by the August 28 storm. The line up includes a rare performance by the band Jim, Monster Buck, Stan Oliva & Larry Stone, Heidi Little, Back Porch Society (members of Roadside Mystic), Lostdog, Lowell Bailey and more acts to be announced.
