Your cabin our 25 acres spaciously set apart amidst nature trails and lake meanderings. Rustic luxurious lodgings are hand-crafted from the artisan touches of 3 generations of family.
Each cabin is individually built from milled wood from the property, each with its own story to tell. There are Great Camp-style living rooms, spacious bedrooms and large decks, as each cabin is purposely set apart amidst our 25 acres, along nature trails or lake views. Options include romantic cabins for 2 with fireplaces and Jacuzzi to 2 bedroom chalets for family and friends At night, history comes alive with lake-view dining, Adirondack Discovery workshops, history of adirondack food dinners, history of beer workshops, lantern lit sleigh rides and more!
The centerpiece of our estate is one of the last original Adirondack lodges open to the public, a National Geographic Traveler award winner for "Keeping a sense of place." A destination like no other in New York State's only wilderness canoe region, in a world apart of untouched nature. As one of the last of the original Great Camp destinations, an Adirondack Discovery experience awaits. You can do it all right outside of your cabin door, no travel required. As the outdoor activities end, the discovery begins.
While the cabins are family built with wellness and Adirondack amenities such as fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs and hydro-therapy steam showers, the 1886 main lodge has been preserved as a living museum. Inside is our award winning Adirondack Alps restaurant in the timeless tradition of Great Camp dining where your table is our entire property. Celebrate with us our 130th Anniversary with special “History of Adirondack Food” dinners, demos and beer tastings. With glass in hand begin on our beach where Einstein relaxed with one of the most mesmerizing lake sunsets you will ever experience. Then, meander to the Fireside Rathskeller with a USA TODAY featured beer cellar. Have fun and sample our monthly-theme History of Beer workshops. Savor seasonal appetizers and journey to the hand-hewn dining room or the Lake-view Center and indulge in a "100 Mile" focused cuisine with Old World flair. Take a fun, homemade Marzipan cake or chocolate canoe back to your cabin.
