Spring Fest at Whiteface Mountain
March 25 - 26: Applefest
Did you know New York grows more apple varieties than any other state? Join us for Applefest and get your fill of apple butter, pie, jam, cider, and more great local apple products.
Kick off your Saturday morning at 9:00 am with our free Olympic History Tour, an on-the-slopes insider look at what it took to get the trails ready for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games, hosted by former Mountain Manager Bruce McCauley. You'll be skiing and riding the Olympic runs, so expert ability is required. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
We've also got our Annual Apple Butter Open Moguls Competition on Saturday starting at 12:00 pm, sponsored by Forrence Orchards. This is a free and fun competition in the bumps with a jump, and the winners will take home cases of NY Snap Dragon apples! Register at Guest Services or by emailing email@example.com. Helmets are required for all participants.
And don't miss the DJ Takeover on Saturday afternoon from DJ Construct, DJ Tone A, Paulo Cardoso, and Evan Krisciunas on the Cloudspin deck!
April 8: Annual Pond Skimming Contest
Don your best costume, choose your skis or board wisely and see just how far across the pond you can glide in our Annual Pond Skimming Contest! Soak up the sun on the Cloudspin Deck with live music from Lucid.
