Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society Ghost Tour

Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society Ghost Tour

The Lake Placid – North Elba Historical Society announces their annual historic fall tour: a “Ghost Tour.” Embark on an evening of spooky stories, local ghosts, and fun! This event takes place on Friday, October 13 from 5-7:30 p.m. The tour will include four Lake Placid establishments that all have an interesting past.

The tour will begin at The Alpine Cellar on Wilmington Road at 5 p.m. It will continue down Main Street and visit the Palace Theater, a private residence, and Heaven Hill Farm that was recently investigated by the Adirondack Park Paranormal Society (A.P.P.S). A knowledgeable presenter will lead a discussion at each establishment about the history of the buildings and tell of ghostly encounters.

Participants will have the opportunity to purchase beverages at the Alpine Cellar, and we recommend booking dinner reservations there too, as the tour will only provide small hors d'oeuvres. The tour is $30 per person and includes a commemorative glass.

Advance registration is required, maximum of 30 participants. For more information or to register, please contact The History Museum at (518) 523-1608, at or visit
