Lake Placid/North Elba Half Marathon & 10K

44th Annual Running of the Original Lake Placid/North Elba Half Marathon Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Lake Placid, NY 0900 Start. Race Course is a point to point route starting at the Olympic Speed Skating Ovel in the village of Lake Placid, goes north through the center of Lake Placid's business district. The runners then head south by the Olympic Ski Jumps and onto a flat portion of River road, following the river. This out and back portion of the course is a popular running road for multiple races including the Lake Placid Ironman. The race finishes at the North Elba Horse Show Grounds. All advanced registered runners will recieve a commemorative t-shirt, and finishers a special medal.
