Home to the cross country ski and biathlon center , bobsled/skeleton/luge combined track and 1932/1980 Olympic Tracks visitors can experience the exhilaration of a bobsled run by taking a ride on our Lake Placid Bobsled Experience.
Lake Placid Bobsled Experience
Rides are available throughout the year, on the combined track and the 1932/1980 Olympic track, depending on the season. During the winter, cold blades of steel will carry you through each turn on the combined track and during summer months passengers will feel the thrill of the ride when sleds trade in their runners for wheels!
Lake Placid Skeleton Experience
This is your childhood sled on overdrive on the combined track at the Olympic Sports Complex. Thirty miles per hour never seemed as fast as when you are laying on your stomach rocketing down an icy chute of the combined track.
Be a Biathlete
Provides clinics where you can learn about this unique sport and test your skills on our biathlon shooting range. Clinics are available during both summer and winter seasons.
Cross Country Mountain Biking
Available during summer months at the Olympic Sports Complex, and provide over 30 km of trails that take you through spectacular Adirondack terrain.
