Artisans is an intimate, fire-lit, Lake Placid restaurant that extends out to the Lodge’s wide covered balconies in fine weather. The high windows and grand porches seem to seat the diner almost upon the lake. Their menus highlight the bounty of the Adirondacks with house-made ingredients, as well as local produce. The distinctive setting boasts craftsman furnishings from local artists and is the only dining room on Lake Placid with a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain. The menu is seasonally inspired and New American in tradition, but voyages wonderfully and mysteriously into the world beyond.
