This year, relive 1781 through new programs and exhibits, special events and tours, musket and cannon demonstrations, battle re-enactments, and hands-on family activities! Explore this year’s featured exhibit, Great Wars: Ticonderoga and World War One. Discover the exciting stories of the largest collection of 18th-century cannons in North America! Bring the family and experience history come alive by land and by water! Step aboard the Carillon Cruise boat and take a tour around the Ticonderoga Peninsula or plot your own course with daily canoe rentals. Explore the historic 2,000-acre landscape while you hike the Carillon Battlefield Trail, visit Mount Defiance, and savor the beauty of the King’s Garden. Gain perspective with behind-the scenes programs and tours like the Gossip Tour of Fort Ticonderoga, Sunset Cruise Aboard the Carillon, Guns by Night, and Beyond Bullets and Blades. Create family memories that will last a lifetime as you embark on adventure. This fall, explore the six-acre Heroic Corn Maze designed especially for Fort Ticonderoga! Visitors will find clues connected to Fort Ticonderoga’s story as they make their way through the maze. Open daily 8/11-8/26, and weekends 9/1-10/21, as well as Labor Day & Columbus Day. Use your flashlight to guide you through the corn maze at the Maze by Moonlight 10/26 & 10/27. Be sure to stop by the Museum Store and dine at America’s Fort Café featuring family-friendly garden to table cuisine, fresh from the King’s Garden, and regional beer and wine.
