Lake Placid Olympic Sites
Visitors are often struck by the 70- and 90-meter ski jumps towering in the sky alongside the High Peaks. An elevator ride will take you to the top of the jumps, providing a birds eye view of the Adirondack region. You can tour many of the Olympic Sites and even take a luge or bobsled ride, no matter the season! The legacy of the 1980 Games has been preserved, and its heritage upheld, to ensure public enjoyment of the Olympic venues.
The Olympic Sites Passport is perfect for folks planning a visit to the area, giving you access to every one of the Lake Placid Olympic Sites! The Passport is available for purchase online and in person at all of the Olympic venues and the ORDA (Olympic Regional Development Authority) Store on Main Street.
