What to do in April in the Adirondacks? Some believe there's not much going on in April. Not true! Granted, it's not as busy as high season, but there ARE still events going on - and some very entertaining ones at that!

This coming weekend is Whiteface Mountain's last big weekend for events. Whiteface presents Super Retro Sunday on April 7. Break out the one piece ski suits, stretch pants and sweaters or your neon. Lift ticket prices $40. Adults, $35. Teens and $25.00 for Juniors. Lucid performs live in the Cloudspin Lounge at 3:00 PM plus Bud and Bud Light specials and giveaways. Then there's Pond Skimming at 1:00 pm. Prizes from our sponsors are awarded for distance, costume and biggest splash. Sign up at guest services. Limited to 100 participants.

These events are always a great time with deck parties, great music and a festive atmosphere as we run up to the end of the ski season. Temps this weekend are predicted to be very spring-like - perfect for deck parties!

Near the end of April, Daffest takes center stage in Saranac Lake as the thousands of Daffodils planted around the community come into bloom. Daffest runs from April 27 through May 4 with plenty of events to keep you hopping.
